Donors give you an overview of the people and companies who support your organisation: how much they’ve given, when last, whether they give regularly and to which project. Donors come with the Business package; members who can See amounts see them.
Turn the module on #
Donors are a module that starts switched off. Turn it on in Settings → Modules → Donors. The Donors page then appears in the sidebar under CRM.
Add donors and gifts #
Click New donor and enter the name, type (person or company), email and phone. Click a donor in the list to open their detail, where Add gift records the amount, date, type of gift (one-off or monthly), payment status, project and campaign.
Import from CSV, for example from DARUJME.sk #
If you collect gifts through DARUJME.sk or another platform, download a CSV export and click Import on the Donors page.
- Columns: Projecco recognises them by name (first name, last name, email, amount, date, campaign and more). If it doesn’t guess one, pick it yourself.
- Project: you can assign every imported gift to one project, for example a fundraiser.
- Check: before importing you see how many gifts and new donors will be added and which rows couldn’t be read.
Projecco matches donors by email, or by name when there’s no email. If the export has a gift ID or variable symbol column, a gift you’ve imported before isn’t added again, so you can upload the same export repeatedly.
The donors list #
For each donor you see their total, the number of gifts and the last gift. The arrows icon marks a regular donor who sent a monthly gift in the last 45 days. A red exclamation mark means a payment failed. Search donors by name or email and filter them by whether they give regularly, a failed payment, campaign or project.
Gifts on projects and on Home #
In a project’s settings, Finance → Gifts shows how much the project has raised, from how many donors and how many of them give regularly, totals by campaign and the latest gifts.
When a donor’s payment failed in the last 30 days and no successful gift has come since, they show on Home under Needs attention, regular donors first, so you can get in touch before they stop giving.
You can also view donors and their gifts in the mobile app; adding and importing stay in the web app.
