A timesheet is one person’s work for a month, ready to sign. It’s useful for reporting on grants and EU funds and as a record for your accountant. Timesheets are part of the Standard package and are built from the time you log.
Where to find them #
Under Time, open Reports → Timesheets and pick the month with the arrows. At the top you can pick a project and a person.
What a timesheet holds #
- A row per day: the date, the activities (the task and the time entry’s note) and the hours worked. Weekends, public holidays, vacation and sick leave are marked.
- Project: pick a project and the timesheet holds only its hours. A Total column next to them shows everything the person worked that day, so it’s clear hours don’t overlap between projects.
- Summary: hours worked, working time in the month, absence and the share of working time.
Export to PDF #
Export → Download PDF gives you one PDF with each person on their own page, with the organization, working hours and signature lines for the employee and the approver. You can also download it as CSV.
Who sees what #
People who can update projects see everyone’s timesheets; others see only their own.
Working hours, holidays and absences #
Set working hours, working days and the holiday country in Settings → Team capacity, and absences in the team workload (Business package). Without them, a timesheet counts 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with the workspace country’s holidays.
When a project draws on a grant, the grant’s name, funder and contract number appear in the PDF’s heading. See Grants.
